PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The BIG EAST Conference has the toughest football schedule strength in the nation according to a story by CBS Sportsline.com. Seven of the top 12 teams in CBS SportsLine.com's strength of schedule rating are from the reconfigured BIG EAST Conference. The BIG EAST was determined to have the toughest schedule strength overall largely because six of its eight teams went to bowls last season. Incoming BIG EAST members Louisville and Cincinnati, which each won bowl games last season, were included in that group.
